IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Parent/Athlete,

Thank you for registering to participate in Geneva Knights Athletics! We are excited to have you on our team! The Geneva Knights Athletic Department is passionate about making much of Christ! We are also very excited to grow together athletically as well! 

Here’s some information you will need about your upcoming season! 

1. You can view and subscribe to your sport calendar (both games and practices) by following these instructions:

   1. Go to this link: https://gcaknights.com/events

   2. In the menu on the right click “VIEW SCHEDULES”

   3. Click on your sport and your practice schedule. 

   4. Be sure to add “Athletic Picture Day” 

   5. Then click “VIEW”

   6. On this screen you can either print the whole schedule or in the very top right you can subscribe to any digital calendar you might use. 

2. We will be keeping our Athletic Webpage up to date with any changes all season. In addition to having the full game and practice schedule on the webpage, you will receive an email from your coach once a week with a schedule for the week and anything else you might need to know. 

3. Practices and Games are mandatory! While we have a lot of grace for things that happen outside of our control, please make every effort to attend what you have committed to. The practice schedule is online for the whole season and we ask that you schedule appointments on days and times that you do not have something scheduled with your team. If something should happen, and you are unable to attend a practice or game, please make sure there is proper communication to your coach.

5. Outside of the volunteer hours that Geneva requires with enrollment, we require at least one parent or guardian to work 2 gate/concession stand time slots. This is extremely customary throughout athletic departments across the nation. This is a total of close to 4 hours. If it is not possible for you to work this season or you would rather just be a spectator all season, we offer an $100 payment that would excuse you from this requirement.

6. Uniform Package: It’s important as we play in more competitive environments that our teams are in complete uniform. The items you purchase with this link will be yours to keep after the season. Click HERE. If your sport has a uniform package, it is required so we can keep in uniform (with the exception of shoes).
